This building was built in c. 425-26 and is still standing. Very impressive in my opinion. The domes that are with in the building are beautiful and very detailed. The building is cruciform, which means that it was built in a cross shaped. Which is ironic because the paintings on the ceilings of the domes are the gods and symbols of the after life. The building shows how the Romans were great architects and builders because the building is still standing and in great shape for being so old.

I am seriously fascinated at how many building from that era are still standing after thousands of years. It's definitely a testament to their advanced engineering. I wonder if any of our buildings will last anywhere near the age of these buildings.
